Look for the six-letter word in the jumble. Then build it backwards: place the last letter first, then the next-to-last letter, and keep working back until the locked first letter slots into place.
The next letter must match the next position in the backwards build. If a letter bounces back, it is not the next letter the current word needs.
Open Settings, then choose How to play.
The daily reminder is optional and off by default. If you enable it, iOS schedules one local reminder at the time you choose. You can change or turn off the reminder in Settings.
The first 50 puzzles are fully playable for free. A one-time purchase unlocks the full collection of 1,000 puzzles. There is no subscription.
Yes. Open Settings, tap Unlock Full Game, then tap Restore Purchases. If Apple verifies your purchase, Topsy Wordy unlocks the full game on this device so it remains playable offline.
No. Every puzzle ships inside the app. Topsy Wordy works in aeroplane mode and never makes a network request during normal play. Buying or restoring the full game uses Apple's in-app purchase system and needs the App Store to be available.
No. Your progress, settings, reminder preference, and current puzzle state live only on your device. The Privacy Notice covers this in full.
